Brewers vs. Cardinals: Preview, time, TV channel, how to watch online

null null Baseball null Two of the NL Central's best will duke it out in the final matchup of a three-game series series Wednesday when the Brewers take on the Cardinals at Miller Park. The Brewers (4-1) are coming off a hot start to the season after completing a three-game sweep of the Pad

res in their season-opening series. The new-look top of the order for Milwaukee has been even better than expected. Lorenzo Cain has been electric in the lead-off spot and through five games is batting .409 with three doubles, four runs, four RBIs and three stolen bases. Behind him, Christian Yelich has been just as good, batting .435 with 10 hits, six runs and five RBIs, including the game-tying home run on Tuesday. And cleanup hitter Travis Shaw has continued where he left off last season, batting .364 with four doubles. The Brewers starting pitcher for Wednesday's game will be Jhoulys Chacin. He had a forgettable Brewers debut against San Diego last week, allowing four earned runs on seven hits (two home runs) in just 3 1/3 innings. As such, his ERA is at a whopping 10.80. Chacin will have his work cut out for him against a potent Cardinals lineup that just scored 12 runs over its past two games. : Ranking baseball's best bullpens Since opening the season with two losses to the Mets, the Cardinals have rebounded nicely. And help has come from up and down the lineup. Shortstop Paul DeJong is batting .444 with three home runs and five RBIs from the seventh spot. Jose Martinez has also been an early contributor, batting .444 with four RBIs from the five spot. Still, St. Louis' top of the order stars Dexter Fowler and Marcel Ozuna have struggled so far and are a combined 8 for 45 to start the year.Pitching for the Cardinals on Wednesday will be Opening Day starter Carlos Martinez. Like Chacin, he had a rough first outing last week against the Mets, allowing four earned runs and six walks through 4 1/3, giving him a lofty 8.31 ERA. The bullpen for St. Louis has been solid, though, at least until Tuesday's ninth inning disaster. Will the Brewers ride their walk-off win to take the first series of the season in this NL Central fight or will the Cardinals spoil their home-opening fun?Brewers vs. CardinalsProjected Starters: Jhoulys Chacin, MIL (0-0, 10.80 ERA) vs. Carlos Martinez, STL (0-1, 8.31 ERA)Time: 7:40 p.m. ET, WednesdayLocation: Miller Park, MilwaukeeTV: FS1Streaming: fuboTV (sign up for a 7-day free trial)
