Baseball Major League Baseball ran its 2015 "Stars & Stripes" on-field uniform collection up the flag pole Friday. Now it's up to fans to salute with their wallets.The collection — produced by official uniform and hat providers Majestic and New Era, re

spectively — will be worn by 29 teams on the Fourth of July (the Blue Jays will instead wear a custom red and white jersey for Canada Day on July 1), Chris Creamer's reported: MORE: Breaking down Bartolo Colon's swing | Are the Blue Jays the team to beat in the AL East?* All caps will be red or blue, depending on the team's preference, and feature "a sublimated waving U.S. flag in the background of the front cap panel." Team logos on caps will be re-colored in red, white and blue to mimic the U.S. flag. * Jerseys will be white or gray, with no alternates in the set.* Standard team jersey designs and piping are carried over, as are team wordmarks that also will be re-colored red, white and blue and incorporate a stars pattern that also mimics the American flag.* Jersey numbers and player names will be red or blue and also carry the stars motif.Items from the Stars & Stripes collection are already on sale on multiple -licensed websites.
